During a segment on 42 people being killed by giant hornets in China, the network showed a map, supposedly of the country.
But instead of showing Asia, CNN had a map of South America and showed Hong Kong in Brazil.
“As a person who was born in Hong Kong, I never knew it’s part of Brazil,” Twitter user Pollux Chung wrote, pointing out the error with the hastags “#Fail” and “#LOL”.
