Hillary Clinton is attempting to sabotage Donald Trump’s opportunity to show he will be a statesman, but her line of attack may make Americans like him all the more.

She’s doing it by running a list of Trump’s past tweets on Mexico hours before he’s scheduled to meet with President Peña Nieto.

According to her campaign:

Donald Trump is headed to Mexico to meet with the country’s president, Enrique Peña Nieto. If you’re surprised by that news—well, you’re not alone.

After all, Trump announced his campaign for president by calling Mexican immigrants “rapists” and criminals (“and some, I assume, are good people,” he added generously). Trump has been publicly disparaging Mexican immigrants—and the entire nation of Mexico—for years. And years. And years.

Clinton’s campaign then shared a laundry list of Trump tweets that may leave the reader wondering if Hillary is so upset with some of them, perhaps she should be running for president of Mexico.

For example, she shared these:

So she likes seeing Midwestern manufacturing jobs going to other countries?

So she’s opposed to Ford keeping jobs back in America?

So she prefers to see Mexican flags instead of American flags waving in America?

So she likes drug smugglers illegally crossing the southern border?

So she likes record numbers of unaccompanied minors coming across the border?

So she didn’t want the U.S. soccer team to win a game?

If her answer to any or all of these is “no,” then what the heck is she complaining about?
