Hillary Clinton today bristled at a question premised on “if” she is the Democratic nominee.

“I will be the nominee for my party,” she corrected Chris Cuomo.

“That is already done, in effect. There is no way I won’t be,” she said.

“There is a senator from Vermont who has a different take on that,” Cuomo said, referring to Bernie Sanders. “He said he’s going to fight to the end.”

“Yes, right,” Clinton replied somewhat haughtily.

Cuomo observed the Republicans seem to be unifying behind Donald Trump, while Democrats seem to be fracturing more by the day.

Clinton said she was “disturbed” by the chaos that unfolded at the Democratic convention in Nevada over the weekend.

Delegates for both candidates clashed, punches and chairs were thrown and police ultimately ordered everyone to leave the Paris Hotel ballroom.

“What we saw was disturbing,” Clinton said. She added she has “every confidence we will be unified,” claiming her own experience led her to that conclusion.

If what Clinton is saying is true, it’s unclear why her chief surrogate, Bill Clinton, will be in three states on Friday campaigning for her.

According to the candidate’s website, Bill will be in North Dakota, Montana and South Dakota rallying the vote.
