Bill Clinton clearly doesn’t care if people think he’s criticizing President Obama.

He has his own legacy to protect, after all.

Speaking to a crowd in Erie, Pennsylvania, Clinton on Friday, Clinton again indirectly criticized the current president’s performance.

“We did have trouble but nothing like this,” Clinton said. “Russia threatening Ukraine, destabilizing influence in Syria. All these Syrian refugees — by the way make a contribution to our country — going to Europe, destabilizing governments there.”

He struck similar cords in Philadelphia on Thursday.

Clinton said, “Unlike when I became president, a lot of things are coming apart around the world now.”
